Duo Mode

The same one-tap rule, played on two boxes at once.

Duo Mode puts a second arena next to the first. It is built for wide screens — a phone held sideways, a tablet, or a foldable opened flat — and it comes in two flavours.

Solo: one tap, two boxes

Still one touch. Your tap turns both boxes in the same direction at the same time. The puzzles are not identical — the balls start in different places — so a turn that saves the left box can ruin the right one. The challenge is keeping two arenas alive with a single decision.

• One tap rotates both boxes, exactly like the main game.
• The two scores add up into one total, with its own record.
• If a red ball escapes from either box, the run ends.

Versus: two players, one phone

Lay the phone flat between you. Each player takes the box on their side, and gravity in each box points towards its own player, so you both play the right way up while facing each other.

• Two minutes. Highest score when the clock runs out wins.
• Every ball you send out lands in your opponent's box — worth +1 to you and more clutter for them.
• Letting a red ball escape costs you −1, and it goes over to the other side as well.
• Incoming balls are announced first: a marker blinks on the edge facing the middle of the phone, in the colour of the ball that is about to arrive.
• A box holds at most 24 balls, so a flooded player is never simply buried.
• The two sides are blue and red — frames, scores and the result all use those colours.

Built for real fingers

Both players can tap at the same instant and both taps register — the touches are collected in one layer rather than per arena, which is what usually breaks two-player games on one screen.
